Obituary

Teresa H. Villalobos, born January 19, 1942, and at 79 was called to be with our Heavenly Father on November 25, 2021. She was the greatest wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and neighbor that anyone could ask for. Teresa was preceded in passing by her father Luciano Hernandez Sr and her mother Felipa C Hernandez. Her sister Marylou, brothers Charlie, Luciano Jr, Miguel and Arturo Hernandez. She is survived by her loving husband Jose C Villalobos, children Graciela Villalobos (Louie De Luna), Jose Luis Villalobos Jr & wife Margret, Alicia V Ramirez & husband Pedro, Victor Villalobos & wife Norma. Her beloved grandchildren Alejandro Felipe, Clarisa Ivonne, Ricardo,
Ashley Isel (Ernest), Amy Marie, Rene and great-grandchildren Josiah Matthew and Julius Cameron. Teresa was also survived by her siblings Gloria, Yolanda, Susie, David, Virginia, Rafael, and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and many family and friends. Teresa was a volunteer member of the La Union Fire Department and a devoted member of Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in La Union, NM. She played guitar and sang in the church choir for over 30 years and was also a member of the Church's Fiesta committee for over 50 years. Teresa was loved by many and had one of the biggest hearts anyone could ever know. She loved to have her grandchildren and great-grandchildren around her and give them her recipes
and stories whenever she was asked. She always opened her home to friends and family. She always made the most delicious food to share with those who came to visit. The best memories were made around the table while having coffee with her beloved Husband Joe, friends and
family every day. Teresa always saw the beauty in many of Gods creations and made sure to share her love for music and God with everyone who would listen. She loved singing, playing her guitar, praying, collecting rocks, traveling and arts and crafts which she gave as gifts to many of her family and friends over the years. She enjoyed traveling all over the country with her Husband Joe while making memories with loved ones that would last forever. Teresa was a homemaker and always cared for and maintained her home while raising her family. She was the other half of the foundation that she and her husband Joe created together in their 60 years of marriage. She was a great pillar in town that many grew to love and will greatly miss. Teresa was always helping someone and thinking of others, she was the most selfless person you could have ever hoped to know. There isn't enough to say about how strong, amazing & beautiful Teresa was and we are all going to miss her greatly and will continue to remember her and cherish the moments we were fortunate enough to spend with her. We love you and will always have you in our hearts. The love and strength you have instilled in us will only grow to show you how much we love you. Nothing in this world can express the mark you have left on Gods earth! We love you always and forever!!!
