Ken was born in Wausau, WI on April 4, 1941. He loved the Lord and was a faithful reader of his bible. He also had a love for sports, especially college football and basketball. Ken was a wealth of information and his family would tease him about the "useless" things he knew. We suppose he learned much of that information from all the reading he did. He never met a stranger and that served him well as he made his way through life. After many years of traveling around the US, Ken found his "home" in Las Cruces. He will be missed & remembered by many.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his barber, Terry, for her friendship over the years and for helping the family from afar during this difficult time. Finally, a deep and heart felt thank you to the nurses, doctors and other staff at Mountain View Regional Medical Center as well as the staff at Welbrook Transitional Rehabilitation for all their care and support they gave to our father while we couldn't be there.
A Memorial Service for Ken will be planned at a future date in Waxhaw, North Carolina.
