It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of 73 year old Victor Garcia Martinez on March 17, 2024. He was born on June 20, 1951 in Juarez, Chihuahua, MX to Carmen Martinez and Jesus Garcia.

Victor was a master plumber and worked at NMSU for 25 years. He and his beloved wife were together for 58 years and married for 54. Victor enjoyed  listening to his oldies and cook outside on his disco.

Those left to carry on his memory include his dog Clyde beloved wife Mary Ann Garcia, Daughter Nancy Long and Husband Calvin Long and grandson Jeremiah.  Jr (Lena), Son Ronnie Garcia and wife Jessica and Grandchildren Diego, Jennifer,Santana,and Grace Garcia.  Joel(Lucinda)

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Carmen and brother Ramon "Shorty"Garcia.

A prayer vigil will be held at a later date.
