VICENTA MORALES GARCIA, age 72, of Las Cruces entered eternal life on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Mountain View Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. She was born June 25, 1952, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Eva Morales and Jose Orrantia Garcia. Vicenta was employed as a server at Lubby's Cafeteria and numerous other restaurants in Las Cruces.

Survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, Jose Castro Cordona of Las Cruces; three daughters, Rose E. Clemente of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Valerie M. Garcia (Jaime) and Annette Chavez (David) all from Las Cruces; two sisters, Herlinda Garcia (Fidel) also from Las Cruces and Priscilla Vasquez (Javier) from El Paso, Texas. Other survivors include 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Anthony Garcia in 1999; grandson, Pablo Daniel Garcia in 1995; two brothers, Paul, and Joe Garcia.

Family and friends will gather at 2 PM for a Memorial Service at 3 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date.
