It's with heavy hearts that we share that Valentin Garcia, 51, passed away on February 6, 2025.

Valentin was born in El Paso, TX on August 8, 1973, to Jose Alfredo and Estella Garcia. Valentin spent over 30 years working as a plumber, alongside his brother, Jose.

Valentin knew how to have a good time. He was always ready to throw something on the grill for his family and friends. Give him a Bud Light, some music, a game of cornhole, and he was in his happy place. His home was always open, and he made everyone feel welcome.

Valentin will be dearly missed by his partner of 30 years, Maria Elena; his kids, Mykaela Sanchez, Alexis Rodriguez (and Diego), and Valentin Garcia Jr.; and his grandkids, Layla, Antonia, Victoria, and Valentina.

He also leaves behind his parents, Jose and Estella Garcia; his sister, Patricia Ferralez; his brothers, Jose Alfredo Garcia, Jose Manuel Garcia, and Richard Mendoza; and many nieces and nephews who he loved a ton.

He was one of a kind.

A prayer vigil for Valentin will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 starting at 2pm, at Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 East Boutz. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 2:30pm. At Valentin's request cremation has taken place.
