With deep sadness and very heavy hearts, the family of TORIBIA “DALIA” SORIA DOMINGUEZ, announces her peaceful passing on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Heritage Assisted Living, surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 86.
Born November 7, 1939, in Tlahualilo, Durango, Mexico, to Arcadia Lopez and Amador Soria, Dalia grew into a woman whose life was defined by devotion—to her faith, her family, and the home she lovingly nurtured. Known affectionately as “Dalia” by all who knew her, she carried a gentle strength and a warm spirit that made everyone feel welcomed, cared for, and deeply loved.
A devoted homemaker, Dalia embraced her roles as mother, grandmother, great‑grandmother, and recently, great‑great‑grandmother with joy and pride. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she poured her heart into each generation. Her kindness, wisdom, and quiet resilience will continue to live on through the many lives she shaped.
Those left to cherish her memory include her only daughter, Christina Dominguez Fierro and husband Edward of Mesquite; six sons, Rafael Dominguez Jr. (Lori), Simon Dominguez (Betty), Benjamin Dominguez, Gilberto Dominguez (Claudia), Jaime Dominguez (Maria), all of Mesquite; and Martin Dominguez of Las Cruces. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 31 great‑grandchildren, and one great‑great‑grandson, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Dalia was preceded in death by her loving parents; her husband, Rafael Dominguez Sr.; her infant son, Simon Dominguez; and her beloved grandson, R.J. Fierro.
Dalia’s legacy is one of love, faith, and family legacy that will continue to shine brightly through all who were blessed to know her. May she rest in eternal peace and may her memory be a source of comfort and strength.
