Obituary

TONY "PANCHO" GARZA, age 47, of Las Cruces NM, went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2025. Tony was originally from Pueblo, Colorado and was born in Casper, Wyoming to Stephanie Fanny Garza and Benny Ray Esquibel. He is survived by his two children, Tommy Garza and Desiree Angelique Marie Garza; 3 grandsons; his sisters Tiffany Garza, Ukiah and Catalina Esquibel: sister-in-law Brandy Loughborough; nieces Katrina Esquibel, Esmeralda Aguilera Marquez and Anaya Garza; nephews Antonio and Estevan Esquibel; last but definitely not least, his most trusted, best friend, life partner and other half his younger brother Tommy "Dopey" Esquibel. His Stepfamily, Grandma Beverly Smith, Grandpa Harold Rodman, Aunt Ronda Rodman, Uncle Randy Smith, Cousins Alisha Smith, April Arrona, Darren Hawthorne, Angie Hawthorne and Nick Rodman and many other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from the Garza and Esquibel families.

Tony was a rolling stone! He had a heart of pure gold and would go above and beyond for the ones he loved. He had a passion for artwork and music with Pink Floyd being his favorite. He was the type of person that people were just drawn to, and he always made them laugh with his silly little dances, jokes, and his crazy sense of humor. He loved being with his brother and he was definitely his brother's keeper. He stayed loyal to everyone who he truly loved. Tony left his mark on the world, and he made his presence known to everyone around him. He proudly held the titles of son, brother, uncle, father and grandfather. There will never be another person like Tony "Pancho" Garza!

Fly gracefully my beautiful brother, you'll never be forgotten.

He is preceded in death by his beautiful mama Stephanie Fanny Garza Rodman, Stepfather Duane W. Rodman, Dad Benny Ray Esquibel, Grandma Lala Sosa, Grandpa Alfredo "Shorty" Garza, Uncle Freddy Garza, Aunt Becky Kelley, Cousin Darnell Gaffney, Uncle Larry Smith and Aunt Evelyn Smith.
