STEVEN MARK WATERMAN, passed away quietly on Monday, September 16, 2024, at his home in Las Cruces from a heart attack. A lifetime resident of Las Cruces / Mesilla Park Area - he was born in 1960 and graduated from Las Cruces High School. Steve was known as a passionate healthcare provider and worked at many of the area's hospitals and clinics throughout his career. He even took his unwavering care on the road and was a traveling nurse during the Covid-19 pandemic. Steve also enjoyed playing drums and was heard accompanying many different bands in Las Cruces over the years.

He leaves behind his sister Jackie Waterman of California and his beloved dog, Bruno; as well as numerous friends from Las Cruces, El Paso, and locations all over.
