It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of 24-year-old Sheila Sarahi Nava on February 13, 2025. She was born on August 12, 2000, in El Paso, TX to Arcy Shwerya Seturino De Nava and Ramon H. Nava.

Sheila touched every soul she met, and had no problem becoming family in any setting she was in.  Her aura lit a room and made everyone feel safe and loved.  Her smile was the light of many lives, and her voice was as sweet as honey. Although she had a short 24 years of life, we know that her spirit and love will be carried on for years to come.

Those left to mourn her include her 23-month-old son Onami Lucre Chacon Nava, her sister Lei Lani, her half-sister Barbara, half-brother Andres, her nieces Lylei and Kylee and nephews Lyzandar, Kyle, Lyzaius, and Ethan. As well as multiple other family members and close friends who loved and cared for her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her precious baby girl, her parents, uncle Hector, grandparents Ramon and Eloisa, and cousin Patrick.

Honorable Pallbearers: Lyzandar Jimenez, Kyle Shannon, Lyzaius Jimenez, Corey "Terrel" Patterson, Isaac "IT" Williams, Ezekiel "Zeke" Acosta, and Max Miller.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Services will begin at 02:00 P.M. Following services cremation will take place and inurnment will be at a later date.
