Senaida M. Fierro, a beloved mother, grandmother, and lifelong resident of Las Cruces, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026. Born August 14, 1937 to Enedina and Manuel Martinez, Senaida grew up rooted in faith, family, and the traditions that shaped her warm and generous spirit.

A devoted homemaker, Senaida poured her love into her home and children, creating a place where everyone felt welcomed, supported, and deeply cared for. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family will remain her enduring legacy.

She is survived by her sons Jesus Fierro Jr. and Raymond Fierro (Nancy), and her daughters Jessica Sanchez, Sandra Fierro, and Joanne Fierro. brothers Manuel Martinez (Pauline) and Joe Martinez. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Senaida was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Jesus Fierro, and her sisters Virginia Padilla and Chemy Villegas, brothers Daniel Martinez and Jacob Ernest Martinez Jr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Our Lady of Purification, 5525 Cristo Rey. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Recitation of the Rosary begins at 11:00 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. Interment and Rite of Committal will follow at The Doña Ana Cemetery.

Senaida will be remembered for her gentle heart, her devotion to family, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life. Her memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the traditions upheld, and the love she instilled in all who knew her.
