It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of 86 years old Santos Ortega on November 15, 2024. She was born December 4, 1937 in Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico to Vicente Gomez and Elvira Garcia.

Those left to mourn her include her children Lorenza Dorado (Abel), Alfredo Ortega (Norma), Jesus Ortega (Lorraine), Carlos Ortega (Shelly), Javier Ortega (Hermila), and Lorena Escobar (Antonio). She also leaves brothers Ramon Gomez, Manuel Gomez (Alicia), Cruz Gomez (Isela), sister Dolores Gomez and many grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vicente and Elvira, husband Roman Ortega, her first son Carlitos Ortega, sisters Maria Morales and Severa Gomez, brother Cleto Gomez.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 20, 2024 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary 1240 S Espina Street. Visitations will begin at 09:30 A.M The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 A.M. and the Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at her request cremation will follow and inurnment will take place at a later date.
