JIMMY M. VALLES, 81 years old, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.  Jimmy was born January 10, 1943, in Las Cruces, NM to Josefa Montes Valles and Santiago Valles. Jimmy was an avid sports fan, devoted to the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Dodgers.  He was proud to be a LCHS Bulldog and part of the LCHS State Championship Basketball team in 1961.

He is survived by his son, Jimmy Valles (Maria), 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; stepsons, Robbie Gonzales, Jon Gonzales, Sal Lopez, and James Lopez; sister, Ina Lucero; nieces, Vangie Tellez, Debra Paz, Rita Banegas, and Rosie Carbajal; nephews, Bennie Lucero and James Lucero as well as numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Isabel Valles; son, Steve Alexander; brother, Manuel Valles; sisters, Celia Carbajal, and Agnes Balizan; and a nephew Ruben Carbajal.

A Memorial Services for Jimmy will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road, Las Cruces, NM  88005.  Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date.
