Ruben (29) was born in Las Cruces, NM to Ruben J. Lozoya and Lucy S. Chavez on January 25, 1995, and tragically passed away, on September 14, 2024, in Tucson, AZ.
Ruben relocated from Las Cruces, NM to Tucson, AZ in search of better opportunities and a better life for himself and his family in 2023. Ruben had an infectious smile. Ruben was a very respectful, loving, and forgiving young man who worked hard for his family. Ruben was a devoted partner, father, son, brother, and uncle. He always put his loved ones before himself.
Ruben will always be remembered for his love of music and motorcycles. He loved his long bike rides and family trips.
Ruben leaves behind his fiancé, Vanessa Moreno, and his four beautiful children. Alessa, Alana, Liam, and Selina; his mother, Lucy Chavez (Albert); his father, Ruben J. Lozoya; sister, Melanie Lozoya; four brothers, Isaiah and Sebastian Chavez, Salvador Acosta, and Jesse Lozoya; nephews Adam and Aziel Acosta and his niece, Brooklyn Carbajal; maternal grandmother, Guadalupe Chavez; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

We all love you very much. You are already missed, but you will never be forgotten. You will live through the amazing, beautiful children you were blessed with. Rest in peace, Son. This isn't goodbye; we will be together again—maybe not today or tomorrow, but someday.
I love you and will always cherish you. Thank you for always loving us and being a wonderful Son.
