ROSELLA FERNANDEZ RUIZ-TRUJILLO 83 0F LAS CRUCES, NM passed away JANUARY 14, 2024 at La Posada, surrounded by her children and some grandchildren.
Rosella was born in Las Cruces to Sixto Romero Fernandez and Trinidad Cuaron Fernandez in May 26, 1940. Lived the majority of her life, four generations in Las Cruces.
Rosella (Mother) loved her Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart. She was a Pastor's wife from 1975-1987. La Voz De Fe where she worked diligently with Joy ministering in music playing the piano and singing. She taught Women's Bible Study, she loved teaching the Youth Group, led worship playing the piano was definitely her hearts Joy -Worshipping her King. She touched many lives with her beautiful smile and words from the Bible.
"Mother" loved to crochet afghans, baby blankets, booties , and dollies . Some she would give away as gifts. But in all that fine skilled art, she sat and Prayed many times while crocheting for different ones (family, friends) that would cross her mind. This hobby was passed down from her mother (Grandma Trine) and still carries on with some of her children -granddaughters.
"Mother" was a housewife, a Proverbs 31:27 woman …. She looked well to the way of her household, and ate not the bread of idleness. Many times she gave of herself unselfishly for her family caring for her children, and grandchildren.
She enjoyed visits from her siblings, sharing the Lord with Uncle Bob over coffee and Pan Dulce. Some of her siblings lived out of State or town, she would converse with them on the phone many times until Face Time became an awesome tool for her to see them. Unexpected visits from nieces and nephews she would welcome them with a big smile and a warm hug.
May we cherish and remember this Beautiful Soul that we were graced with. Her encouraging words, and warm smile. May it be a cherished memory that will encourage you when needed.

She is survived by her Children; Michael Ruiz of Las Cruces, Kathy Jordan (Pastor Mark Jordan) of Las Cruces, Marty Ruiz-Garcia (Xavier Garcia) of Las Cruces, Robert Ruiz (Stephanie Ruiz), of Las Cruces, 13-Grandchildren ,14- Great Grandchildren 3-Great Great Grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on February 9th, 2024 at Calvary Christian Center, 4211 Elks Drive. Interment and Committal will conclude at Masonic Cemetery, 760 S Compress Road.
