Obituary

A man with a heart so kind to all those around him, Roger Flores, passed on peacefully in his home on January 8th, 2026. Born in Santa Ana California, on May 2nd 1967, Roger's life was surrounded by absolute love, joy, and commitment to his family, with little room for much else. He spent his days taking care of his family, his home, and his trees. He spent his last few years connecting with as much family as possible, making sure everyone knew how often he thought of them.

Roger took pride in providing for his wife Sylvia, for over 35 years, just one beautiful example of his undeniable commitment to those he loved. His 3 children, Roger Flores, Grace Flores (Daniel), and his youngest Ruth Flores. His love for his children was undeniable, and admirable. Survived by his wife and children, he will be missed by his sisters Pat Hernandez, Miriam Flores, his brother John Flores, and his 3 beautiful grandchildren, and all of his nieces and nephews. Roger was a devout christian, always trusting his faith in God above all, and loved more than all to be outside with nature, tending to his several fruit trees and plants. He found comfort in speaking with God and his loved ones, and his silly, cheerful spirit will be dearly missed by his family.

Born to his mother Soldedad Garcia, and his Father Joe Flores, he spent a lot of his youth playing basketball, a sport he was very passionate about for several years. He would help out whenever he could at his brothers auto-shop, and most of all, spreading love, support, and laughs to his entire family every chance he got.

Roger was preceded in death by his Mother, Father, Brother Fred Flores, and his son Jesus Flores who passed away shortly after birth. Services to honor Rogers life will be held January 14th, 2026 at Baca's Funeral home at 2pm, to give his family and friends a chance to say one last goodbye.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 starting at 1pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 2pm. At the family's request cremation will follow after.
