Roberto Gomez Dominguez, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026. He was born on January 30, 1944, in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, to Rodolfo Gomez Esparza and Refugia Dominguez Aguirre.
A hardworking and skilled auto body man, Roberto dedicated his life to his craft and to providing for those he loved. His hands were steady, his work honest, and his heart generous. He built a life rooted in perseverance, humility, and devotion to family.
Roberto is survived by his loving wife, Maria Del Rosario, his sister Juana Maria Gomez, and their children: Roberto Gomez Jr., Jesus Gomez, Rosario Sessions, Patricia Perez, Christina Gomez, Luis Gomez, Jaime Gomez, and Cecilia Gomez. His legacy continues through them, and through the many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family members who cherished him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Guillermo Gomez, Mario Gomez, Fernando Gomez, and Lorenzo Gomez. Though they have gone before him, they are reunited now in eternal rest.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:00 A.M. The Celebration of Life will follow. Interment and Rite of Committal will conclude at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue.
There will be a small reception following the burial at 1:00 P.M. at the New Mexico Construction Alliance Hall located at 2825 N. Main Street.
Roberto will be remembered for his quiet strength, his unwavering love for his family, and the countless ways he shaped the lives of those around him. His memory will remain a blessing to all who knew him.
