It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of 86 year old Raymond Manuel Ruiz on September 4, 2023. He was born on May 6, 1937 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Magarita Chavez and Manuel Ruiz.

Those left to cherish his memory include son Raymond Ruiz Jr (Deborah) and daughter Mary Ann Richards. He also leaves four brothers John Ruiz, Manny Ruiz, Pepe Ruiz, and Ricky Ruiz, four sisters Rosanna Randolph, Faby Raught, Chole Ruiz and Pretita Vega. His grand children include Irene Baker, Daniel Sambrano, Jacob Ruiz and Jack Ruiz. Great grandchildren include Isaiah Baker Jr., Gavin Baker, Layla Alvarez, Mireya Sambrano and Mireyli Sambrano.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Margarita and Manuel. His beloved wife Margarita, siblings Maggie Najera, Bernadette Garcia, Raymond Astorga Jr. ,Mauricio Ruiz and Brother in Law's Richard Garcia, Ernest Najera

A celebration of Life will be held on Thursday September 14, 2023 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Visitations will begin at 10:00 A.M. and the Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Hector Vega Officiating. Interment and Rite of Committal will conclude at Masonic Cemetery, 760 S. Compress.

Serving as casket bearers will include DJ Sambrano, Michael Alvarez, Jacob Ruiz, Isaiah Baker, Gavin Baker, Ricky Garcia, Norm Najera, Mike Chavez, Manny Ruiz and Jack Ruiz.
