Ramona M. Flores, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2026. She was born on October 13, 1938, in Anthony, New Mexico, to Tomasa Hernandez and Ruperto Mendoza.

Ramona dedicated many years of her life to caring for others, working as a caregiver and homemaker. Her compassion, strength, and unwavering love for her family defined her life's work. She touched countless hearts with her kindness and gentle spirit.

She is survived by her sons, Joe M. Flores (Louella) and Gabriel M. Flores; her daughters, Lydia F. Pena (Chris) and Esperanza "Hopie" Flores Medrano (Jonathan); her sisters, Mary Quintana and Romelia Rodriguez; her son‑in‑law, Eddie Garcia Sr.; And All her grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends who cherished her deeply

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Rafael Flores; her son, Ernesto Flores Sr.; her daughters, Priscilla Garcia and Teresa Valenzuela; her grandson, Eddie Garcia Jr.; and many siblings and family members who now welcome her home.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, located at 400 S. Ruby Street in Deming. The Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:00 A.M., followed by the Mass at 10:30 A.M. Inurnment and Rite of Committal will conclude at Mountainview Cemetery, 3410 E. Pine Street in Deming.

Ramona will be remembered for her boundless love, her devotion to her family, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
