Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and dear friend, RAMON CLEMENTE REYES, age 66, of Las Cruces entered eternal life on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. He was born February 28, 1958 in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico to Dolores Guevara Gallegos and Felipe Paz Reyes. He was employed at Smith and Aguirre Natural Gas for over 26 years and was the proud owner of Reyes Green House for 20 plus years, and would set up shop at the Farmers Market every weekend selling his beautiful plants and trees. Plants, fishing, hunting, animals, cookouts, playing music and entertaining family, were all a big part of his life, that he enjoyed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra Luz; son, Ramon Eduardo Reyes; two daughters, Flor Yesenia Gaytan (Javier Gaytan) and Sandra Olivia Reyes (Julio Carmona); brother, Mario Reyes and three sisters, Socorro Hernandez, Lupe Prieto, and Juanita Gomez. Eight grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe, and Dolores Reyes; two sisters, Olivia Reyes, and Evangelina Vasquez; two brothers, Arturo, and Erasmo Reyes.

Visitation for Mr. Reyes will begin at 6 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road with the Prayer Vigil at 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church, 5525 Cristo Rey in Doña Ana with The Reverend Martin Cordero, Celebrant. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 100 N. Espina Street where he will be laid to rest in the family plot.

Serving as casket bearers will be his family and friends.
