RAMIRO GAMBOA, 73, a lifelong resident of Las Cruces, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born August 19, 1952, to Genoveva Luna and Alfredo Gamboa, Ramiro was a man of quiet strength, deep devotion, and unwavering love for his family and community. He dedicated many years of service as a security guard at Stahmann Farms, where he was known for his reliability, kindness, and warm smile.

In 1971, Ramiro married the love of his life, Frances Quintero. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. He was a proud and devoted father to Ramiro Gamboa Jr. (Melinda) and Joshua Gamboa, all of Las Cruces. His legacy continues through his five cherished grandchildren—Tiara, Jordan, Kenae, Kayla, and Joshua Jr.—and two great-grandchildren, Nabi and Maple Gamboa, who brought him endless joy.

Ramiro is also survived by his brother, Victor Gamboa (Julia) of Albuquerque; sisters, Esther Gamboa and Patsy Corral (Arturo), both of Las Cruces; and numerous nieces and nephews who will remember his gentle spirit and generous heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Herrera; and brothers, Alfredo and Oscar Gamboa.

At Ramiro's request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to honor his life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road, Las Cruces.

Ramiro's life was a testament to love, loyalty, and quiet dignity. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
