PEDRO LEYVA JUAREZ, of Las Cruces passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the age of 50. He was born February 10, 1975, in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Soledad Juarez and Pedro Leyva. Pedro was employed as a maintenance man for several apartments' complexes. He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Dodgers. He was a communicant at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church.

Survivors include his only daughter, Laura Rios (Bryan) of Manvel. TX; his mother, Soledad Juarez of Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, MX; sister, Laura Leyva Juarez of Las Vegas, NV, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pedro was preceded in death by his father; Pedro Leyva; a sister, Graciela Leyva Juarez, August 16, 2023; aunt, Magdalena Martinez, and Uncle Ramiro Martinez.

Visitation for Pedro will begin at 6 PM Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road with the Prayer Vigil at 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church, 1178 N. Mesquite Street with The Reverend Ruben Romero, Celebrant. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery, 760 S. Compress Road where he will be laid to rest in the family plot.

Serving as casket bearers will be his family and friends.
