Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul "Paulie" Hernandez on November  23, 2024. He was born June 25, 1983 in Las Cruces to Apolonio and Maria Hernandez.

Paul loved spending time with his friends and family. As a devoted father, he cherished every moment with his son, Brayden, and took immense pride in watching him grow.

Throughout his career, Paul demonstrated exceptional leadership skills as he rose through the ranks to become a successful store manager at both Sam's Club and Target. His empathy, transformational leadership, and infectious enthusiasm earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, who were drawn to his magnetic personality.

Paul's impact extended far beyond his professional accomplishments. He had a gift for connecting with people from all walks of life as he made everyone feel seen and heard. His unwavering optimism, generous spirit, and unshakeable/INSANE level of confidence made him easy to like and hard to forget.

If you knew him, you will remember Paul's presence, his huge smile, and his ability to light up a room with his energy and enthusiasm. Paulie was a champ, a one-of-a-kind guy who left a lasting impression on friends and loved ones.

We will miss him dearly, but we take comfort in the memories we shared with him and the impact he had on our lives.

Those left to mourn him include his parents Apolonio and Maria, son Brayden, nephew and niece Jacob and Amelia, brother Santino Hernandez (Christina Chavez), sister Victoria Hernandez, and so many good friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Rafaelita Quinones (Mercedes) and Lorenzo Padilla (Mary), paternal grandparents Hilario and Anita Hernandez, uncles J.R Stewart and Panchito Martinez, and his beloved Bulldogs Maya, Frost, and Chubbs.
