Patricia (Patti) Jane Sosa passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Patti was born on June 29th, 1965, to Jose Sosa Sr., and Adelaida Trevino in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in Raymondville, Texas alongside her 6 siblings; Ruby Reyna, Joey Sosa, Ruben Sosa, Charlie Sosa, Deborah Sosa, and Jacob Sosa and would eventually call Las Cruces, New Mexico home. She enjoyed playing cards, betting on games (and winning), hanging out with her family, friends, and two grandsons, Aarian Quintanilla, and Oliver Flodmand. She was a 3rd generation migrant worker that stayed working 45 years in the produce and shipping industry until the Lord called her home.

She is survived by her two children, Shelbey and Tristan Quintanilla, her two grandsons, Aarian and Oliver, and her boyfriend, Don Huckaby.

She was greeted at the gates of Heaven by her father, Jose Sosa, her little brother, Jacob Sosa, her sister-in-law, Gloria Sosa, and her niece, Ashley Sosa-Bellah on 4/24/24.

A service and inurnment will be in Raymondville, TX at a later date. Patti will be laid to rest with her father.
