PATRICIA ALVAREZ, age 70, entered eternal life on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Desert Springs Nursing Home in Hobbs, New Mexico. Born September 10, 1955, in Anthony, Texas, Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Pablo and Winifred Hudson Alvarez.

A woman of quiet strength and deep devotion to her family, Patricia's life was rooted in faith, love, and resilience. She was a cherished sister, aunt, and friend whose gentle spirit and warm heart touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her four loving sisters: Camilla Gomez (Claude) of Mesilla, Victoria Alvarez of El Paso, Texas, Toni Enriquez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Corina Varajas of La Mesa. She is also survived by her devoted brother, Philip Alvarez (Isela) of Las Cruces. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Pablo Alvarez Jr., who passed just two days before her, on November 25, 2025.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 11:00 AM at the Basilica de San Albino, 2070 Calle de Santiago in Mesilla. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately thereafter, with The Reverend Christopher Williams, Celebrant.  Following the Mass, the Rite of Committal and Interment will take place at San Albino Cemetery, where Patricia will be laid to rest in the family plot.

Serving as casket bearers are Ramon Jimenez Jr., Ramon Jimenez II, Isaac Varajas, Claude Gomez III, Philip Alvarez, and Raymond Sanchez.

Patricia's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
