Pamela "Pam" Gomez (Chapman), 68 of Las Cruces, NM passed away May 12, 2026, at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.

Pam was born in Lampasas, Texas, to her loving parents, Charles "Chappy" and Evelyn Chapman, and was welcomed into eternal peace by them as they preceded her in death.

Pam carried a strong spirit and a tender, generous heart. She loved with her whole being, laughed with a joy that filled every room, and found her truest happiness in the presence of her children, grandchildren, and the many souls she held close. Her family was always the center of her world, and she cherished every conversation, memory, and simple moment of being together. Throughout her life, she formed deep and lasting connections and was grateful for the friends who stood beside her through every season – relationships that reflected the warmth, loyalty, and love that defined who she was.

Those who knew Pam will remember her for her strength, her warmth, and the love she gave in her own unique way. Her life was filled with challenges and triumphs, but through it all, she remained deeply loved by so many. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love that continues through the family and friends she leaves behind.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Kerry Santos (Victor) and Monique Gomez; her cherished grandchildren, William and Allana Santos, and Nemiah Martinez who will forever carry her love and memory in their hearts. She is also survived by her two brothers, Mike Chapman (Kay) and Mark Chapman, two sisters, Patti Lyman (Tom), Paula Gibson (Pete), many nieces and nephews, and a large extended family of dear lifelong friends who became family through years of love, loyalty, support, and shared memories.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 23, 2026 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 02:30 P.M. and the Funeral Liturgy will follow at 03:00 P.M. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
