Nora Seivert, 91 years old beloved mother, friend and mentor passed away July 7, 2023, at her son, John Seivert's home in Las Cruces, N.M. Nora leaves to mourn her: sons: Michael Seivert (Barbara) of Canfield OH, James Seivert of Marengo, OH daughters: Nora Elizabeth Seivert (Stotts) of Kingman, AZ and Diane Seivert (Riley) of Palm Desert, CA son: John Seivert of Las Cruces, NM. Brother: Alex Ferrante deceased. Nora also leaves to mourn her five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Nora was a long time resident of Youngstown. Graduating from East High School and marrying James Seivert raising their five children. Nora's passion and love for Mahoning County drove her to become an educator. Nora graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor Degree in Science of Education. Nora went on to earn her Masters Degree in Science of Education from the Ivy League Westminster University in New Wilmington, PA. Nora followed her passion and taught in the
Mahoning County School District for forty (40) years and retiring from South Range Elementary
School District after twenty eight (28) years. Nora also owned Seivert's Service Campbell
with husband James Seivert, now deceased. Nora's passion extended beyond education...Nora volunteered from making Rosaries at Saint Dominic's Church in Youngstown to volunteering at the voting polls or to volunteer at her favorite Politicians' headquarters. Nora also volunteered as the President of Brownlee Woods Block Watch. In lieu of flowers or donations please send Memorial donations to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
