NELLIE “MANUELA” FRANCES VALDIVIA was born in Tucson, Arizona on November 2, 1948. She went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2026, at the age of 77.

She is survived by her husband Armand, her children Phillip, Elena, Ashely and Brandon, her nine grandchildren Tiffani, Michael, Toshio, Dominic, Ariana, Aleyah, Marisol, Lucas, Brynlee, and one great grandchild, Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Elisa Nuñez, and her first born son, Fredrick Mungia. She leaves behind her siblings, relatives, extended family and dear friends who will always remember her.

Manuela’s life revealed a faith visible in her walk with Jesus. Those who knew her were blessed by the Spirit reflected within her and illustrated in Galatians 5:22. Those who were present as she battled dementia, witnessed her love and posture in prayer…….it was alive. Her life is a living testimony of God’s faithfulness and goodness.

Though her life here on earth has ended, her eternal life has begun and what a blessing it is to know that she is alive in the kingdom of heaven with her Savior Jesus.

A Celebration of Nellie’s Life will be held at 10 AM Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Baca’s Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road, Las Cruces, NM.
