Nancy Rae Mackie-Harris passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Nancy Ray Mackie-Harris born September 5, 1943, in Raton New Mexico, to her parents Kenneth and Cora Mackie.

Nancy was a schoolteacher who taught in Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. She was a member of the Wellspring Church. She enjoyed scrap booking, travel, genealogy, and volunteered reading to children.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Mackie, and Cora Shoulders-Mackie. She is survived by her husband, Leslie Harris; her children Lisa Hodges, and Bart Hodges; her grandchildren, Yvonne Hodges, Matthew Hodges, and Shane Hodges; and great grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Smith, Anna Marie Smith, Matthew William Hodges Jr., Mateo Vincente Hodges Montes, and Alora Rosa Hodges Montes.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12pm on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Wellspring Church, 1040 Country Road (Taylor Road), Las Cruces, New Mexico.
