MIGUEL VASQUEZ, 67, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Born in El Paso, Texas, on January 14, 1958, Miguel was a lifelong resident of the Southwest, where he built a quiet life rooted in hard work, family, and community. He was employed for many years at New Mexico State University as a custodian, where he was known for his dedication, humility, and warm presence among students and staff alike.

Miguel is survived by his three brothers: Luis Vasquez of Las Cruces; Francisco Vasquez and his wife Dolores of El Paso, Texas; and Manuel Vasquez of Phoenix, Arizona. He also leaves behind six beloved nieces and nephews: Carla, Beto, Jessica, Charles, Victor Manuel, and Amaris Vasquez.

Miguel will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his unwavering loyalty to those he loved, and the quiet strength he carried through life. His family and friends will miss his steady presence and the kindness he shared so freely.

Cremation has taken place and Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:30 AM Monday, July 21, 2025, at The Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 3600 Parroquia Street in Tortugas with the Memorial Mass to be celebrated immediately thereafter with the Reverend Valentine Jankowski, Celebrant.  Inurnment of cremains will follow at Masonic Cemetery, 760 S. Compress Road.
