It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Martin Garcia Jr. on August 19, 2024. He was born January 21, 2006 in Albuquerque to Maria Martinez and Martin Garcia.

Marty was a proud graduate of Hatch Valley High School class of 2024. That was a proud moment for our family. Marty was a loving caring son, brother and friend and was always ready to help out those that needed him. His smile could light up a dark room and his presence will forever be missed. He loved his nina, family and beautiful girlfriend Briseyda Casas. He loved his music Regida that would fill the house while he sang and danced. He had so much faith in his patron saint San Judas. We love you mijo, God bless you always and forever.

Those left to mourn his passing are his parents Martin and Maria, two brothers Juanito Garcia and Enrique Salinas, three sisters Mary Jane Garcia, Mariah Garcia and Esmerelda Garcia. Godmother Christina Garcia and family, and girlfriend Briseyda Casas.

A prayer vigil will be held on Thursday September 12, 2024 at Our Lord Of Mercy Church. Visitations will begin at 06:15 P.M. and Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 07:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday September 13, 2024 at 03:00 P.M. Interment and Rite of Committal will conclude at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Serving as casket bearers include Armando Lopez III. Aaron Olivas, Lalo Garcia, Yuriel Martinez, Jose Delgadillo, Jacob Alvarez, Diego Pena, Tino Delgadillo, David Crispin and Gerardo Campos.
