Martha Concepcion Gloria, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on April 25, 2026. She was born on July 24, 1940, in El Paso, Texas, to Victoria Samaniego and Pablo Garcia. A devoted homemaker, Martha dedicated her life to caring for her family with unwavering love, strength, and grace.
Martha also lovingly known as "Nana Conchita" is survived by her children: daughter Margaret Gloria‑Tellez (Luis) of Las Vegas, NV, sons Bennie G. Gloria (Teresa), of Virgina Beach, VA, David G. Gloria (Priscilla) of Las Vegas, NV, Joseph Paul Gloria (Lorena) also of Las Vegas, NV. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Gabriel Tellez, Brandon Tellez, Stephanie Syner, Lauren Gibson, Dannae Pietrick, David Gloria, Joseph Gloria, Joshua Gloria and Charlie Perez.
Martha also leaves great grandchildren: Izabella Tellez, Miraya Ceniceros-Tellez, Darius Richards, James "Peanut" Jeffrey, Carstyn Gibson, Mackenzie Gibson, Weston Pietrick and Elijah Perez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Joe Gloria; and her siblings Samuel Garcia, Joe Garcia, Alberto Garcia, and Cecilia Corral.
A prayer vigil will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Bacas Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1240 S. Espina Street. Interment and the Rite of Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue.
Serving as casket bearers include Joseph A. Gloria, David Benjamin Gloria, Samuel Garcia, Joshua Gloria, Brandon Conrad Tellez and Luis Alfonso Tellez.
Martha's legacy of kindness, devotion, and quiet strength will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
