Obituary

Mariana Suarez Clark, affectionately known as Ana, was born on April 3, in Antón Martín, Durango, Mexico. She passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024, in Las Cruces, NM, where she spent her final years surrounded by loved ones.

Ana dedicated 13 years of her life to working at Sara Lee Hosiery. Her most treasured role was as a caregiver for her youngest grandson, Jaremiah "Miah" Nevarez. Her unwavering dedication to family was noticeable in everything she did, and she loved nothing more than spending time with family.

Ana was a devoted member of the Las Cruces First Church in Las Cruces, where she faithfully attended services and found comfort in her faith. She enjoyed going on long drives for ice cream to Ruidoso, and rides to Costco with our dad. She loved gardening, cooking, and often preparing her favorite dishes, green enchiladas, pasta and pork chops, for family gatherings. Cooking shows and gospel shows were a favorite pastime.

Known for her smile and kindness, Ana enjoyed visiting with her neighbors and friends, creating lasting connections within her community.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Raynald "Randy" Clark, her children, Jose Antonio Suarez (Sophia), Janet Clark (Landis), MaryEllen Clark (Abel), Irene Enriquez (Jose), Raynald Clark, Jr., and grandchildren, Adriana, Jackelinne, Lizbet, Lizet and Jose Antonio Suarez Jr., Dennis Ray Duran, Jr. and Joschua "Memo" Duran, Alexys Marie and Jaremiah Christopher Nevarez, Jazmynn, Delilah, Breanna, Angelina, Joseph. Three great grandchildren, Mila Reign Duran, Adrain and Ricardo.  4 sisters Angelina, Maria Dolores,Rosa and Martha, 3 brothers Timoteo, José Inez , and Jacobo.

Mariana's spirit will live on through the numerous lives she touched with her love and respect.

Mariana was preceded in death by her parents, Cecilio and Refugia Ochoa Suarez, brothers, Tito and Guadalupe Suarez.

Service will be held at Las Cruces First Church 5605 Bataan W., Las Cruces, NM 88012 on September 24, 2024, at 10 AM.
