Maria Eufemia Garcia, 57, of Las Cruces, NM was called to eternal rest on August 31, 2023.

Maria "Kenni" was born January 31st, 1966 in Las Cruces, NM to Daniel and Eufemia "Kena" Garcia. She was a beloved mother, nana, sister, auntie, nina, fur momma and friend who will be dearly missed by many and forever loved by all. She loved life and her family even more.

She is survived by her two daughters Kendra Strouse and Victoria Terrazas. Her son in law Alexander Strouse; two grandchildren, Jayden and Madelynn Strouse. Three siblings, Margret (Danny) Flores, Jaime (Erika) Garcia, and Lucy (Frank) Ontiveros. Her sister in law Kimberly Johnson; and several neices and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents Daniel and Eufemia "Kena" Garcia.

Pallbearers will serve as Ruben "Javi" Garcia, Fransisco "Josh" and Justin Ontiveros, Michael Garcia, Daniel and Marco Flores.

A visitation for Maria will begin at 10am on Monday September 11, 2023 at San Miguel Catholic Church, 19217 NM-28. A Prayer Vigil will begin at 10:45am with a Funeral Mass to follow.
