Maria Santos Galvan Marmolejo, 86 years old of the city of Vado, New Mexico passed away on the 26th of August, 2024. Maria Santos was born in Aguascalientes Mexico to Maria Gomez and Manuel Galvan. Maria was a very compassionate and caring woman, always putting the needs of her children before her own. We will never forget the countless family gatherings eating menudo around her table sharing memories with laughter. Those memories will live on in our hearts. Throughout her life she taught us invaluable lessons; the importance of family, the power of resilience for her family. Her unwavering strength carried her family through tough times and will continue to keep everyone together as she valued the days that she got to spend with her children and grandchildren.

Maria Santos is survived by Jose; Mercedes; Leticia; Manuel; Lucina; Tomas; Gerardo; Erica; and Vicente Marmolejo.

She was preceded in death by her son, Francisco Marmolejo Junior and husband, Francisco Marmolejo.

Maria Santos nació en Aguascalientes, México, hija de Maria Gomez y Manuel Galvan. Maria era una mujer muy compasiva y cariñosa, que siempre anteponía las necesidades de sus hijos a las suyas. Nunca olvidaremos las innumerables reuniones familiares en las que comíamos menudo alrededor de su mesa y compartíamos recuerdos entre risas. Esos recuerdos vivirán en nuestros corazones. A lo largo de su vida nos enseñó lecciones invaluables; la importancia de la familia, el poder de la resiliencia para su familia. Su fuerza inquebrantable ayudó a su familia a superar momentos difíciles y seguirá manteniendo a todos unidos mientras valoraba los días que pudo pasar con sus hijos y nietos.

A Maria Santos le sobreviven José; Mercedes; Leticia; Manuel; Lucina; Tomás; Gerardo; Erica; y Vicente Marmolejo.

Le precedieron en la muerte su hijo, Francisco Marmolejo Junior y su esposo, Francisco Marmolejo.
