It is with great sadness we announce the passing of 27 year old Marcus Rey Terrazas on March 18, 2024. He was born December 11, 1996 in Las Cruces to Lorena Tome and Jacob Gamboa.

Marcus Terrazas was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend. He was his mom's only son and first love. He was a kind, loving, caring and extremely funny person who loved his sisters and family with all his heart. He had a positive attitude and always had a smile on his face. He was a best friend and a loyal, hard worker at Raks Building Supply with co-workers who enjoyed working with him. He always had a passion for the outdoors, working on his truck and playing video games with his cousins, aka lilbeandip. We will always carry the joyful memories of him in our hearts.

Those left to mourn him include his parents Jacob Gamboa and Lorena Tome, two sisters Marissa Gonzales (Edward) and Jenissa Gamboa. He also leaves Grandfather Eddie Tome Jr. Two Aunts Leah Tome and cousins Trey Alcachupas (Eliza & Malaya) Sylvan Alcachupas (Tyler), Anthony Gonzales, Celeste Gonzales, Davin Gonzales, Dawson Gonzales (Irene & Everly). Olivia Lozoya (Chuy Lozoya) and cousins Tori Martinez, Brianna Tome (Luciano) Alexus Dominguez (Amador, Ayla & Aria) Brandon Apodaca, Jiovanni Tome and  Eric Fernandez,  and cousins Rick Montoya, Eddie Tome 4th (Danielle, Camilla & Mayeli) and cousin Lupita Gomez, step grandmother Barbara Gomez, and step aunt and uncle Antoinette Gomez (Jeremiah, Eddie, Kiwi), Michael Gamboa.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Guadalupe Tome.

A funeral service will be held on Fri March 29, 2024 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E Boutz Road. Visitations will begin at 01:00 P.M. and the Funeral service will begin at 02:00 P.M. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be at a later date.
