MANUEL RAMIREZ, age 88, of Las Cruces entered eternal life on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born October 19, 1935, in Sierra Blanca, Texas to Refugio Sanchez and Bernadino Ramirez. Manuel was a commercial truck driver until his retirement and was member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Raul Ramirez (Rita); three daughters, Velma Janssen, (Matthew), Norma Wilson and Debbie Sandoval. Other survivors include 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters. Mr. Ramirez was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beatrice Nunez Ramirez in 2018; three brothers, and a sister.

Family and Friends will gather at 11 AM on Monday, May 20, 2024, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1240 S. Espina Street for the Prayer Vigil at 12 Noon. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated immediately thereafter. Inurnment of cremains will take place at the IHM Columbarium.
