It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Magdalena Diaz on March 1, 2025. She was born July 17, 1951 in El Paso, TX to Gloria and Manuel Diaz.

Those left to mourn her include her two sons Christopher Washburn and Patrick Cortez. Brothers Manuel Diaz Jr. and Benjamin Diaz, sisters Irene Pena, Elaine Diaz and Elvira Long.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ernest Diaz.

A prayer vigil will be held on Friday March 28, 2025 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:00 A.M. and the Funeral Liturgy will follow. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
