Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, LYDIA SAMANIEGO RAMOS, age 75, of Salem entered eternal life on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at her daughter's home in Albuquerque with her loved ones at her bedside. She was born August 4, 1944 in Julimes, Chihuahua, Mexico to German and Isabel Pando Samaniego. Lydia was a homemaker and a devout member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Those left to mourn her passing include a son, Javier Ramos (Maria) of Phoenix, AZ; four daughters, Teresa Ramos of Round Rock, TX, Veronica R. Rodriguez (Michael) of Athens, OH, Eugenia Miller (Brian) of Phoenix, AZ, and Maribel Ramos of Albuquerque; her former husband, "El Vecino" Faustino Ramos of Salem; five brothers, Enrique Samaniego, Nicolas Samaniego (Carmela), Antonio Samaniego (Berta), Anastacio Samaniego all of Julimes, Chihuahua, Mexico and Socorro Samaniego (Lidia) of Arrey; one sister, Victoria Meza also of Julimes, Chihuahua, Mexico. Other survivors include ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lydia was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, German Samaniego.
