Obituary

Leslie Lozoya, age 28, entered eternal life on October 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 29th, 1997 to Micaela Murillo and Rafael Lozoya. Leslie was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, cousin and friend. She was full of joy, laughter, and infinite love. Her presence would light up any room she entered. Her greatest joy came from her role as a mother to her three children: Itzel Jimenez, Estevan Jimenez, and Emilian Jimenez, who will carry forward her love and spirit.

She is survived by her parents, Rafael Lozoya and Micaela Murillo; her children; her brothers Rafael Murillo, Andrew Lozoya, and Zurii Lozoya; her sisters Yeseina Ramirez and Ziyellie Lozoya; and step brother Zyren Apodaca.

Leslie was met in heaven with open arms by her brother Joseph Anthony Murillo and her maternal grandparents, Jose and Guadalupe Murillo.

Family members serving as pallbearers are Jaime Lozoya, Ramon Lozoya, Hector Lozoya, Victor Lozoya, Jesse Gomez, Billy Fierro, Aaron Amaya, Isaac Garcia Jr, Rigo Murillo, and Rudy Banda.

The family would like to extend their greatest and most sincere gratitude to all those who have lifted our family in prayer, kind words, and thoughts. A beautiful soul who was gone too soon and will forever be in our hearts. We will miss your bright beautiful smile.

A prayer vigil will be held in her honor on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., followed by the recitation of the rosary at 6:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1240 S. Espina Street, with Reverend Alejandro Reyes officiating.
