It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Leanne Angel Garcia on August 31,2023. She was 27 years old. She was born October 16, 1995 in Las Cruces to Gina Marie Jimenez and Hector David Garcia Sr.

Our beautiful Leanne was such a kind soul. She was so giving. Leanne was also an exceptional basketball player and played for Team USA. She was a leader and a good friend, mother, sister, daughter, auntie (Nana), granddaughter, niece and cousin. She will truly be missed by everyone.

Those left to carry on her memory include her mother Gina Macias (Jimenez), son David Anthony Garcia and daughter Layla Rae Garcia. She also leaves behind three brothers. Daniel Ray Jimenez (Erica), Hector David Garcia Jr (Jocelyn), Richard Anthony Garcia. Stepfather Aaron Puentes. Leanne also leaves behind nieces and nephews. Daniel Ray Jimenez Jr, David Ray Jimenez, Delilah Vianie Jimenez, Jayden Sarabia, Emily Garcia, Elijah Ray Jimenez, Dazelle Jimenez, Kallysta Jimenez, Samual Garcia and Bella Garcia, Sarah Silva and Alexis Silva. She was preceded in death by her father Hector David Garcia Sr and her maternal grandmother Virginia Jimenez.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 4175 Lavender Drive. Visitations will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the celebration of life will begin at 6:00 p.m. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be at a later date.

Serving as pall bearers will be brothers Daniel Ray Jimenez, Hector David Garcia Jr, Richard Anthony Garcia, Daniel Ray Jimenez Jr, David Ray Jimenez, Joshua Jimenez, Armando Jimenez and Lucas Jimenez.
