It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Lawrence Patrick Rubio on February 4, 2025. He was born on July 15, 1998 in Las Cruces to Christina Figueroa and Lorenzo Rubio. Lawrence was a lifelong resident of Las Cruces, born and raised. He attended Las Cruces High. He loved working and spending time with his family. He was the most loving, caring, adorable son a mother could ask for. He loved to dance and he loved music. He loved life and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Those left to mourn him include his mother Christina Figueroa, stepfather Abraham Lozoya, sister Zariah Lozoya, brother Josiah Lozoya, Stephanie Medrano who loved him like a brother. His godmother and godfather who love him so deeply, a few aunts and a whole lot of cousins and friends who admired him.

He was preceded in death by his father Lorenzo Rubio, sister Jessica Rubio, grandmother Patricia Figueroa and aunt Michelle Salaiz.

A funeral service will be held on Friday February 21, 2025 at Bacas Funeral Chapel, 300 E Boutz Road. Visitations will begin at 09:30 A.M. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:30 A.M. and the Funeral Liturgy will follow. Following services cremation will take place and inurnment will take place at a later date.
