JUNE MARIE VASILE MOREY, 87, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, following a long illness.

Born January 1, 1938, June lived a full and vibrant life centered around family, adventure, and quiet joys. She was married for 69 wonderful years to the love of her life, Raymond Morey Jr., with whom she shared countless memories, especially in the great outdoors.

A devoted mother, June is survived by her five children: Raymond Morey III (Nancy), Laura Decato (John), Brian Morey (Linda), Denise Rodgers (Andrew), and Debora St. Phillips (Dan). She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

June had a deep love for nature and spent much of her life traveling with Ray—camping, hiking, and cross-country skiing. She also enjoyed quiet moments, especially working on puzzles, a favorite pastime that reflected her patience and thoughtful spirit.

She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the unwavering love she gave to her family and friends.

No public services or memorials will be held.
