JULIAN CARDOZA, age 93, of Las Cruces passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at his home with his loved ones at his side. He was born January 28, 1930, in Hurley, NM to Carmen Valenzuela and Bernabe Cardoza. In 1952, Julian was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. He retired as a Grocery Store Manager.

Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years, Gloria Ruiz Cardoza; 4 daughters, Dolores Cardoza; Yolanda Cardoza (Tony Montaño), and Laura "Lori" Amador all of Las Cruces and Denise Archibeque (Eddy); and son, Ernest Cardoza (Bernda) all of Albuquerque; 6 grandchildren, Zachary, Gerad, Jaclyn, Valerie, Leann, and Steven.  Julian was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Ernest Amador and all his brothers and sisters.

At his request cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road with Pastor Adam Cantu officiating. Concluding Service and Inurnment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 2:30 PM where Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
