Julia Romero, a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, and Friend, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on June 10, 1953, in La Constancia, Nombre de Dios Durango, Mexico, she was the cherished daughter of Elisa Romero and Gabriel Andrade.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Juana, and brother Jorge.

She is survived by her daughter Juliana, Grandchildren Alberto, Jared, and Marisol, three sisters Hermelinda, Victoria, and Leticia, two brothers Vicente, and Marcelino, many nieces and nephews, as well as her canine companion Diesel.

Julia lived a life marked by quiet strength and resilience. She met each day with grace and unwavering faith. Her gentle spirit and enduring kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She loved the outdoors and could often be found in her garden. When not outdoors, you would always find her in the kitchen making a meal for her family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church, located at 5525 Cristo Rey Street. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M., followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 10:00 A.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Interment and the Rite of Committal will follow at the Doña Ana Cemetery.

Casket bearers are Alberto Barajas Sr., Alberto Barajas Jr., Jared Barajas, Adrian Aguilar, Matthew Aguilar, and Noe Hernandez.

Julia will be remembered for her quiet courage, her devotion to family, and the love she gave so freely. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and faith that will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her and her spirit. Her memory will continue to inspired those she leaves behind.
