JUDITH KIHN VALENTICH, age 78, passed away peacefully at her home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Sunday, December 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 19, 1947, in Washington, D.C., to Louise Coddington and Clarence Kihn, Judith dedicated her life to education, faith, and family. She earned a master's degree in education and served as a devoted mathematics professor at a community college until her retirement. Her passion for teaching and her commitment to her students left a lasting impact on many lives.

A woman of deep faith, Judith was a devout member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, where she found spiritual strength and a cherished community.

Judith is survived by her son, Ben Wood, and his wife, Megan, of Las Cruces; her stepdaughter, Bonnie Corbett, and husband Mike of Woodland Park, Colorado; and her sister, Marge Scherer, and husband Dan of Reno, Nevada. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren, including Emma Kelly Wood and Nova Rose Wood of Las Cruces, who shared a special bond with their grandmother. Judith also leaves behind three great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her devoted husband, Nick Valentich.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Judith's life will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, December 22, 2025, at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 3890 Stern Drive, Las Cruces, NM 88001.
