Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend, JUANITA PROVENCIO HOLGUIN, lifelong resident of Las Cruces, entered eternal life on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at her home surrounded by all her loved ones. She was born August 15, 1944, to Celestina "Sally" Duran and Benito F. Provencio. Juanita retired from the Las Cruces Public Schools as a secretary and was a devout member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Those left to mourn her passing include her loving husband, Gilbert Holguin; three sons, Steve Holguin, and Albert Holguin from Las Cruces, and Ralph Holguin of Colorado Springs, CO., two brothers, Jerry Provencio of Albuquerque, and George "Kito" Provencio of Las Cruces. Other survivors include seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Martha Holguin; two granddaughters, Aubrey, and Davina Holguin; and two brothers, Gilbert Provencio and Guadalupe "Chupy" Tirre.

Visitation for Mrs. Holguin will begin at 10 AM Friday, May 16, 2025, at Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church, 5525 Cristo Rey in Doña Ana with the Prayer Vigil at 10:30AM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately thereafter with The Reverend Emmanuel Ezenneh. At her request cremation will follow and Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date.

Serving as casket bearers will be her three sons, Steve, Albert, and Ralph; and three grandsons, Alex, Roman, and Ismael
