It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Juan Nuñez Henriquez on August 31,  2024, at Mountain View Hospital in Las Cruces NM. He was born May 14, 1946 in Delicias Chihuahua to Leonarda Henriquez and Nicolas Nuñez.

Juan enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, they were his pride and joy.  He loved taking his grandkids to get haircuts and to get them Burger King. He loved the outdoors, he enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds. He was an animal lover. He loved to watch Spanish western movies. He was a very loving and caring person. His favorite fish to eat was called Carpa, and he made the BEST fish caldo.

Juan was an amazing father, grandfather, uncle, brother, son, and friend.  He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by all his loved ones and friends.

Juan Nuñez Henriquez was surrounded and comforted by his daughters at the time of his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leonarda and Nicolas, his brother Francisco, and his daughter Maria.

The funeral mass will take place at St Genevieve Catholic Church 100 S Espina Las Cruces NM 88001 September 18 with viewing @9am Mass @ 10am followed by final resting place Dona Ana Cemetery.
