Jose Victor Espinoza (better known as Victor or Vicky to Family and Friends), beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 81.  He was born on March 19, 1944, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to Celestina and Antonio Espinoza.

Victor dedicated his life to capturing beauty through the lens as a professional photographer.  His work reflected not only his artistry but also his deep appreciation for the people and places of his community.

He married Maria Fuentes, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion.  He also leaves his sons, Eduardo Espinoza and Benjamin (Cindy) Espinoza, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and creativity.  He has eight grandchildren (Esteban, Desirea, Cassandra, Chandler, Andrea, Alexis, Gavin, and Jedidiah).  He also has two great-grandchildren (Alayna and Kaiden).  He is also survived by four remaining sisters: Teresa Mendez; Rosa DeMuelenaere (Michael); Gracie Martinez (Rich), and Mary Portillo (Larry), as well as numerous other related family members and friends.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Celestina and Antonio Espinoza, his sister, Cecilia Perez, his niece, Yvonne Morales, and nephews Mark Mendez and Jose Portillo.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Baca's Funeral Chapel (5:00 pm), 300 E. Boutz Road.

A viewing, rosary, and mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church, starting at 9:00 am, 1178 N. Mesquite Street.   Cremation and inurnment will take place at a later date.

Victor will be remembered for his warmth, his artistry, and his unwavering love for his family.  His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
