Jose Francisco Chairez, 78, of Zacatecas, Mexico passed away September 16, 2024, in Las Cruces NM.

Jose Francisco was born in Emiliano Zapata, Mexico to Francisco Chairez and Raquel Olvera. Jose Francisco was a strong, hard-working, loving, caring, and generous soul. He dedicated his life to providing for his family. Who will forever cherish his unwavering dedication and the example he set of what it means to be a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Jose Francisco is survived by his wife, Juana Chairez, and his seven children, Arturo, Veronica, Juan Manuel, Cruz, Brenda, Carmen, and Jose. He also leaves behind his twenty-eight grandchildren; Nancy, Graciela, Alfredo, Edwardo, Nolberto, Xavier, Axel, Elizabeth, Arturo, Miguel, Maximiliano, Fabian, Gerardo, Alondra, Ruby, Juan Manuel, Pricilla, Perla, Penelope, Pamela, Paola, Joseph, Emmanuel, Delany, Delilah, Mia, Kendra, Luz Maria, and his four great-grandchildren, Veronica Dalayza, Nohemi Dalayza, Mia and Kamila.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Chairez, and Raquel Olvera, and his granddaughter, Syndy Silva.

A Prayer Vigil will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 117 Hartman Street, Hatch, NM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 3pm with burial to be at Garden of Memories.
