Jerry Lee Elliott, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on July 17, 1945, in Modesto, California, Jerry was the son of Hattie and Luther Burrell Elliott.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before beginning a long and dedicated career as the Space Utilization Officer at White Sands Missile Range. His commitment to service and excellence defined his professional life and earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
He married the love of his life, Sherri Elliott, with whom he shared fifty-nine cherished years. Together they built a family rooted in faith, love, and resilience. Jerry is survived by his son, Teddy L. Elliott; his daughter, Wendi A. Cox and her husband Larry; his sister, Shirley Ann Smith; and his grandchildren Adam Hood, Andrew Elliott, Brandi Harless and Stephanie Elliott, and his great-grandchildren Andrew Elliott, Jr., Wyatt Lee Elliott, Khloe Ann Elliott and Serenity Elliott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie and Luther Burrell Elliott; his sisters Arlene, Norma Jean, Betty, Faye; and his brother Ronnie Elliott.
A memorial service will be held at 06:00 P.M. on Friday December 12, 2025 at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Jerry's life and legacy.
Jerry will be remembered for his love of Our Lord, devotion to family, his service to his country, and the kindness he extended to all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
